Museum für Gegenwart / Hamburger Bahnhof (Berlin) intervention / sound performance
intervention / sound performance
A game of simultaneity. The question of spaces and comprehensibility arises.
First round: Can sound be as massive as solid concrete? Can it withstand? Clashes and thunderstorms.
Second round: The materiality of industrial production is being examined and transformed. The stable material of concrete becomes sound, loses weight, is granulated, and becomes frequency. While the cube outside is systematically dissolved and disappears, an acoustic work, a composition, is condensed in the interior of the museum.
Next round: The performance is recorded and archived by the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg and the class Interactive Media and Dynamic Acoustic Research.
